We are very pleased with the BMW we recently purchased from George Kingsley. The customer service we have experienced has been outstanding. On our initial trip to look at the car we were greeted by Wesley. He was very friendly and helpful and not at all pushy. He was even happy to advise my husband on how some of the features of his car worked. Wesley has a huge knowledge of the different features of BMW's and was easily able to answer all our questions and show us how things worked. We were able to pick up the car at a time convenient to us, and again Wesley talked us through the features in detail helping to set the car up for us. I've since forgotten several things, but Wesley is very happy for us to pop back so he can explain them to us again. We are enjoying driving our car and would 100% recommend them and would be very happy to purchase a car from them again. We have experienced a very rare but high level of customer service. Right where do I start. These guys are unbelievably kind and really helped me out of a sticky situation!! Unfortunately my car that was in my name was in my Exs name on the finance. Even though I put all of the money into it she decided to give it back to the bank and wouldn’t accept me paying for it monthly. It was stripped from my house at 6am in the morning in front of my son. However the caveat was that it had tracking. I found where it was going to be sold which was Manheim in Colchester miles from where I live. I contacted loads of local garages via email and contact pages etc but they all ignored me. However this amazing company stepped up in my hour of need and agreed to buy the car for me plus fees. I transferred them a large refundable deposit for them to secure the car and they stuck to there word completely and we waited patiently until it had sold. It needed an MOT which it failed unfortunately and they got it fixed and passed very quickly so that I could pick it up days later after the sale. A MASSIVE thank you to Dean and the team for going out of there way just to help me !!!

Excellent, efficient Service, Wesley was brilliant and made the whole process so simple. I'd seen a car that I liked on the website and decided to come down and have a look at it. The website is great with good descriptions, excellent images and specification. I gave them a call on the off chance as I was out and about anyway and they were more than accommodating for me to come and have a look. After a walk round and a check inside, I had a chat with Wesley who helped book a proper appointment for the next day, to take it for a drive and spend some more time with it. I attended the next day to find the car parked right at the front, having been cleaned and made ready. Wesley had the keys ready to go and it was so simple to take it out for a drive. After the drive my mind was made up and I sat down with Wesley to go through the paperwork. He made everything easy, helped explaining all the different options for extras etc. Purchasing the car was easy, the order was processed on the same day by Nette, even though it was between Christmas and new years. Picked up the car which was in perfect condition, clean tidy and ready to go. Overall I couldn't fault the service; Wesley was friendly, helpful and attentive and the car was in perfect condition. I would whole heartedly recommend George Kingsley and their excellent team to anyone looking to purchase a car.

Excellent! Really friendly and helpful service from Wesley. Great car, smooth and easy purchase. Free delivery, everything dealt with their end. Super fast, arranging to test drive to delivery was a week, even over the festive period. Able to test drive unaccompanied, given 30 mins+ in the car to get a good feel for it. Easy to contact, nothing too much trouble.

Excellent service. Identified the Range Rover Evoque online on a Tuesday and bought it the same day after a very helpful and informative chat with Wesley. The car was delivered by the business owner to my door on the following Thursday (I live in the far north of Scotland). The vehicle is as described in the ad, it is in beautiful, almost pristine condition. I drove James to the train station, 40 minutes away, for his return trip. Firstly, he had the confidence in the vehicle to drive it 600 miles to my door; he also had the confidence to sit in a 40-minute test drive. A good experience all around.

Very pleased with the service, shopped around for the car I wanted and ideally wanted to buy Direct from a dealership as I'd had great service & aftercare but these guys made sure they dealt with everything to my liking! I'm very fussy and can honestly say these guys delivered so if you only buy direct from the dealer then think again, they even sorted out a great warranty so I can go back to the main dealer with any problems! Fully recommend!!!

I live in Northern Ireland and GK had the car I wanted. They made the process of buying it almost seem effortless. When I arrived the vehicle was sitting there gleaming. I was offered refreshments as soon as I got there. I was also offered extended warranty packages at good value, didn't take them buy was happy to be given the choice. The car too was as described and there was more than enough fuel to get to a petrol pump of my choice and not just running on fumes. Overall 5*!

My partner and I were greeted by the lovely Wesley on a Sunday, he went above and beyond. As a first time buyer I had lots of questions and many things I was not aware of. He took the time to explain everything in great detail which I really appreciated. We spoke about different products, lenders, and other topics relating to my purchase. He even let us have a little browse around dealership for other cars that did peak our interest.The quality I valued the most about Wesley was his honesty and keeping me in the loop knowing how excited I was lol. I had transferred too much money and he let me know straight away and refunded it back. - I would not have known otherwise. As I only had a provisional and did not live too far away he also facilitated a free delivery!Come to the day of delivery, we were e-mailing back and forth ( really prompt with his replies) the gentleman delivering my car was lovely, also took sometime explaining bits of paperwork to me.I cannot recommend them enough, really happy customer!

Clear and quick

Purchased my JCW Mini Cooper Convertible after seeing it on their website Service was excellent from the team, Brian was really helpful no pressure at all .Jeanette took me on 2 trial runs with expert knowledge on Mini. Love the car, thanks to all the team for their time and for making it a pleasant experience.

Absolutely brilliant service. I found my car online and arranged to view few days later. The car was exactly how described and the service from Brian and his team Was amazing. I travelled up from Bristol, asked them to have the car ready for me to sign paperwork and drive away and they did exactly that. Would deffinatley reccome buying a car from this company.

Were very helpful when I was pushed for time getting a new vehicle. Visited and viewed an A1 on a Sunday where Jeanette was absolutely wonderful and even stayed a little late to accommodate my availability, went to lunch to discuss finances with my partner and unfortunately the car was sold during this brief period (which shows how lovely the car was). Because of this James agreed to source me another A1 and travelled way up north to collect this outside of working hours and worked hard during the next week to get the car up to their standards. In this time I was given their courtesy car for free! After purchasing the car with Brian who was very accommodating and even upgraded my warranty on it I noticed that the rear windscreen washer wasn't working a few days later and one of the plastic coverings around the bumper was unclipped. I took this back to GK and they fixed it there and then and also replaced a broken sun visor with no hesitation. I have been enjoying driving the car since and would give their customer service an A*!

I have been in the motor trade for thirty years, so i know the industry and seen most types of dealers, I purchased a personal vehicle from these guys, which was the first dealings i have had with them. Everything was done via telephone so as always there is an element of trust and expectation which has to be managed, both ways to avoid disappointment. The whole transaction was detailed and accurate, the vehicle was totally as described, and i was meticulous in examining it, and when an unexpected minor issue came up a few weeks later, there was no hesitation to assistance and resolve it for me at my convenience, A total 5 star experience and i would certainly recommend based on my dealings with them, A professional operation top to bottom, Thankyou

I drove for 6 hours from up north to purchase a car from GK Prestige in Colchester. The journey was worthwhile as the car was exactly as it was described in the advert. Also a very friendly and helpful sales team. Strongly recommend this car dealership for any car buyers who don't want to take a risk obtaining a used car. Last but not least the sales manager Brian. Perfect service from the owner James when buying my 320d from him. Made my wife feel comfortable and even offered her space to breast feed our 6month old. Beside this there was no pushey sales antics was a clean and simple transaction. Would buy blind in confidence from James and the team in the future when I'm allowed another car!

Purchased a range rover vouge earlier in the year, the purchase process was non pushy and smooth, upon collection of the car it developed a fault (totally unseen issue no fault of the team) after a quick phone call it was straight back to the workshop and returned to me quickly unfortunately the issue continued causing us headaches yet these guys continued to standby their after sales care at their own cost no quibble, absolutely fantastic service, James Jennatte and Brian are an excellent team and I cannot recommend them highly enough

I don't know where to begin as everything about this garage and our experience with them has been excellent , brilliant, 5 star. We part changed our car for one of theirs. They drove it down to us on the south coast, everything was done professionally and nothing was to much trouble for them. Brian , James and Janette have been brilliant and helpful. We bought the car on Friday it had a small issue but by Monday it was sorted without any inconvenience to us. Will recommend to everyone and use again and again. If everyday things ran as efficiently as GK we would have no problems !!! Thanks again to all the great team. They set themselves apart from all other Garages with very high standards indeed

So it's been almost a month now since I purchased my lovely Audi RS4 Avant in white. yes the car is superb.... as expected, but I wanted to wait a while before giving feedback. Upon viewing, Brian and he team were very helpful, friendly and no hard sales tactic. once I agreed to buy, the team provided lots of help and guidance during the two weeks leading up to the pick up date. the pick up date went very smooth, the extras that were not part of the deal but as a promise/gift were all completed which showed they are good to their word.I have brought via main dealers for the past few years so I was a little nervous to go back to a second hand independent dealer..... I shouldn't have worried.GK have great cars and the team are professional.Thank you guys....Right time for another spin in the RS4 :)

I bought an Audi A6 from George Kingsley having seen the car advertised on Autotrader. It was my first time buying a car essentially online, without actually seeing it, but the experience was absolutely first class.Starting with my initial phone call the company were extremely professional, friendly, and interested in my requirements. I was given a verbal tour of the car, which was comprehensive and honest, and matched the photographs on the internet. I was also sent the link to a video of the vehicle which provided even more detail.I then discussed delivery options and I was happy with the reasonable cost, bearing in mind the 400 mile round trip. I was also reassured with the policy of the deposit being refundable if the vehicle, on delivery, wasn't the same as agreed. So having paid the deposit and arranged delivery communication remained first class. On delivery of the car it was exactly as described, and I am delighted with it.I have waited a few weeks before posting this review just to allow time for any hidden niggles with the car to be manifest. There have been none. The description was fair, the paperwork honest, and the car excellent.I was nervous at the idea of buying a car unseen, from a company on the other side of the country, but I would not hesitate to use George Kingsley again. And I wholeheartedly recommend this company.

I have just picked up my wonderful new car from James at George Kingsley. I thought I was never going to find my perfect car. I had been to 3 Ford dealerships and they couldn’t find me a Ford Grand C-Max. They told me they where very difficult to find and that it was very likely that I wouldn’t get one. I thought that I was never going to get my car. I messaged the George Kingsley Facebook page and they got straight back to me. In less than a day James had found me 4 different Grand C-Max cars. I was amazed!! We looked through them all and chose my perfect model. James got it in for me within two days!! I test drove the car and had a good play with all the features. Today I drove away with my beautiful new car. I find car shopping so stressful especially when you know what you want and the car manufacturers dealership can’t help! James at George Kingsley has been amazing!! Thank you so much!!!

I recently brought my unique Audi A S-line from George Kingsley, after searching months online. I made my first enquiry regarding viewing, before I made the 2 hour journey. James went above and beyond to arrange a time outside opening hours to suit my needs. There was no hard sale and all my questions were answered honestly. James kept in touch daily to ensure I had documents to tax the car etc. On pick up the car was immaculate and ready for me to drive away. It was definately worth the long drive and i would highly recommend the personal service received.
